Anti-Harassment Rule for Condo Corporations
Harassment and violence have no place in any workplace, condominium corporations included. It’s important to understand that the exact definitions of harassment and violence vary in legislation; however, we're sharing a general definition below.
“Harassment generally means engaging in a course of vexatious comment of conduct that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome. Violence is the actual, attempted or threatened exercise of physical force” - Deborah Howden, Condo Lawyer and Partner at Shibley Righton LLP.
